This painting was done for a beloved sister in the Lord, Jordana. Jordana fought a long battle with cancer. In her final months, weak though she was, we were honored to have her celebrate Sukkot with us. At one point all the women gathered around her, and I saw this picture of her as a beautiful bride being prepared for her Bridegroom. The many people who surrounded her in love and caretaking those months stood as her bridesmaid, preparing her for the day she would leave us and enter into full union with her true husband.
