The following 7 feast day paintings all go together. If you’re interested in learning more about the Moadim from scripture Leviticus 23 is a good place to start. These are some of the first painting I did when I felt God call me into art. It came after a long season of feeling that I wasn’t creative and this wasn’t an area I should focus on. I confessed a spirit of control and asked God to take over my mind and the ways in which He would choose to use me. Almost immediately I started seeing pictures in my mind for the first time. It began with the Yom Hakippurim painting, and the rest quickly followed. What struck me right away was that God’s gospel, His good news, and Messiah himself was strewn throughout the Moadim. The following audio is taken directly from my journal during that season, and how I was processing what God was showing me. All 7 go together to tell one story, so please listen to all of them, starting at Passover and ending at Sukkot. Can you put yourself in this story? What are your responses? Your thoughts? Can you see God reaching out to you and are you able to reach back?
