I often wonder at the different aspects and roles of God. As a little girl, I easily imagined Yeshua sitting beside me on my bed. He was a companion and a friend, a constant comfort. A few years ago I asked Abba what Yeshua’s role in prayer is. Immediately I saw this image. Yeshua directs us to the Throne Room of God. He is a companion, kneeling next to us, introducing us to His Father and joining as we meet, worship and fellowship with Him. He says in John 14:20 ‘In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.’ And again in John 14:6 6 Yeshua answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” Through relationship with Yeshua, we are introduced and enter into relationship with the Father.
